The Super Cool Book Lovers Parade is the result of a creative partnership between the Dauphin County Library System and community organizations like the Kidney Foundation of Central Pa.
There were 321 people in just 3 hours!
203 kids and 118 adults.
Lynne Wright and I shared our Be Kind to Your Kidneys Book, information about the KFCP-including Camp Kydnie and other take away items such as Gift of Life bracelets, Chap stick from UPMC, and homemade pet rocks ( for all our Kidney Rock Stars) made by our friends, Mike and Irene Mills. They were a Huge hit with the kids!
Expect to see this event again in 2022!
